Somewhere in my basement lies a well-worn, much-loved, size 3T, Snow White costume. The tattered appearance of this preschool gown speaks of the hours – years, really – that it faithfully adorned three of my four daughters. Passed from one to the other as each outgrew this favorite wardrobe piece.

This adornment didn’t take place just on Halloweens, trips to Disney World, or princess-themed birthday parties, though. (Although, yes, it was worn on each and every one of these aforementioned occasions. I have the pictures to prove it. Case in point, see below.)

This particular costume also served as daily wear to the grocery store, the mall, the playground, Sunday School, and more than once even doubled as pajamas. After all, how could I in good conscious inform a three-year-old that only the real Snow White is allowed to sleep in her favorite dress? I suppose you could say that when it comes to princess play in our family, I’m raising method actors.

Yep, this well-worn, much-loved, 3T costume is a treasured childhood item in the Slater household. And because of that, Snow White is a princess who will always hold a special place in this mama’s heart.

So when I learned that Walt Disney Studios was launching The Walt Disney Signature Collection with the Blu-Ray and Digital HD release of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, I was excited. Available on DVD/Blu-ray™ on Tuesday, February 2nd and Digital HD on Tuesday, January 19th, it’s a must have.

I was even more excited, though, when I was offered a digital download to give away on my blog. Because dresses aside, this 1937 animated feature is beautifully done. Each time I watch it, I’m amazed by it.

If you’d like a chance to win this digital download of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, enter below. Who knows, you may soon be whistling a happy song as you watch Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs with your family.
