Coffee + Book = Giveaway

My friend Lisa of Club 31 Women recently posted this to my personal Facebook page:

You see, she knows well how much I love coffee. Yeah, you could say that I’m a bit obsessed. Okay, maybe more than just a bit.

In light of my coffee-loving personality, I’ve decided to do a giveaway. I have two bags of “Liberty Blend” whole bean coffee to give away. It’s roasted right here in my hometown in Georgia by my friends at Thrasher Coffee Company.

And what would coffee be without a book to read while sipping it? With each bag of coffee, I also have a signed copy of my book, Team Us: Marriage Together to give away.

Two bags of coffee + two signed copies of Team Us = Two happy winners.

Use the Rafflecopter widget below to enter for your chance to win some coffee and a copy of my book. In recognition of National Pie Day, I’ll pick two winners on Friday, January 23rd. Because … well … every good cup of coffee and good book deserves a good piece of pie.

  1. I’ve been wanting to read this.

    • Brenna, I’m excited to hear you’ve been wanting to read “Team Us!”

  2. I have this chair that I’ve had for almost a decade. I got it second hand as a poor kid in college. I love it. It’s ratty and pathetic and my husband is not a huge fan though he’d never ask me to get rid of it. It needs to be reupholstered badly. I love it so much. It’s the most perfect size and always comfortable. Currently I don’t do much reading, it’s more a “nursing the newborn” chair, lol.

    • Elisabeth, your chair sounds like the perfect cozy, comfort-spot to read in and sip coffee! Love it!

  3. Ohhhhh, if I could pick any where in the world? A grand tree house with tons of light and blankets and pillows and a french press with my favorite mug of joe, and the tree right beside a waterfall so I could hear the water falling close by as I read my favorite book. Except that would be my ideal situation. At the minute it’s sitting on the little couch next to the fish tank as I watch my boys play together (reality perfection :) )

    • Shanelle, what a fun spot a tree house would be to read in and drink coffee!!

  4. This giveaway sounds great!
Like most, I LOVE ( no really LOVE) coffee, so I chuckled at the procaffeinating! :) That is so me!

My favorite place to read my book and coffee is the beach! In the morning! I am blessed to live so close to the beach, just a few min walk. I am currently reading a book called Crazy Love by Francis Chan. If you can, pick it up! It’s great!
I try and go every morning, but you know how that doesn’t always work.

Thanks so much for this! I’m so happy I found your blog!!!
    God Bless,
    Karli

    • Karli, that sounds so calm and a great way to start the day. Thanks for the book recommendation too. I’ve heard good things about “Crazy Love,” but haven’t actually read it yet.

  5. This is such an amazing giveaway! I just stumbled upon you through Pinterest and am so glad that I did! I would love right now to be sipping so joe with some sand in between my toes and the sun rising and shining all day. We have been struggling here in Pittsburgh with weather above 20 degrees. Fingers crossed for this great giveaway!

    • Allison, burr!! It’s 38 degrees in Atlanta today and I’m freezing. I can imagine you all are freezing even more there in Pittsburgh. Sitting at the beach all day and reading sounds so nice!

  6. The best place to read a book is in a cabin in the woods. Snow falling outside and a roaring fire inside. A big overstuffed chair and of course a quilt. A big mug of Cafe Cubano. Thanks for tjis great give away.

    • Barbara, your comment too me back to the years we lived in Colorado. One spring we spent some time in a cabin up near Estes Park and it was snowing. So, so cozy and a great spot to drink coffee and read!

  7. I enjoy reading in exotic locations- give me a view, a crackling fireplace, or a great library.

    • Sara-Marie, crackling fireplaces are one of my favorite parts of fall and winter!

  8. I love curling up on the couch with a cup of coffee, a good book, and my furbabies. It usually turns into a nap for all of us.

  9. I don’t ever want to move because of my window seat! Watching the snow fall, leaves swirl in the wind, or green summer branches swaying while I read a book with a great cup of tea… can’t beat it. Grateful for every precious moment.

    • Christina, window seats are so nice! When we lived in Colorado, we had a few in our house. I recently came across a picture of my oldest daughter as a preschooler sitting in the window seat, covered with a cozy blanket, and looking at a book. Such a sweet memory.

  10. Honestly, my favorite spot is my bedroom! I’ve spent a lot of time making it a chic comfy retreat! :)

    • Heather, that sounds like a great place to read a good book and drink some coffee!

  11. My kitchen table is the place I like to drink coffee and read a good book.

    • I agree that kitchen tables can be a great spot!

  12. Looks like a fantastic book. Can’t wait to read it. I’ve been wanting too!!!

  13. At home on my couch with a comfy blanket!

    • Oh, I love comfy blankets. I have two favorites here. One that used to be my grandparents that I remember using at their house as a kid, and two, another I’ve had since my undergrad days.

  14. Snuggled on my couch…before the rest of the house wakes up! Coffee tastes so much better in peace and quiet…or shared with a friend. :-)

  15. I like reading in a chair where the sun is shining through the windows. I enjoyed an excerpt from your book in the article Team Us. I found it because Kirk Cameron posted a link on Twitter. :)

  16. When the weather is nice it is on my deck, otherwise it is on the couch by the fireplace.

  17. I like to enjoy a cup of coffee and read a book on my porch

  18. Sounds like a nice combo even though I am drinking yea right now. (Coffee for morning only!)

  19. Is this open to non-US residents? I hope it is. :/

    • Hanna, because of shipping costs, it’s only open to U.S. residents. I’m sorry!

  20. My favorite coffee-drinking-while-reading spot in the house is our balcony. Seeing the trees and feeling the breeze of the air is so relaxing and gives me more focus when reading. :)

  21. Delicious coffee and an eloquent book, no better combination! I would be uber grateful to win :).

  22. I love reading!! The best place for me is curled up on the end of the couch under a cozy blanket. With three kids I don’t get as much time to read as I would like, but when I do it is so relaxing! :)

  23. My favorite spot is on my balcony. It is so relaxing and usually has a great breeze.

    • Cassandra, that sounds like a great spot to read.

  24. thank you for the giveaway opportunity!

  25. My “reading chair” .. it’s a big fluffy, comfy oversized chair that is just heavenly!

  26. I’m so excited that I won and am looking forward to reading your book with a big cup of tasty coffee. Thank you!
